Teambuilding and Workforce Development
Team Wheel Game – 30-40 min
The approach we have found to be most effective for building group cohesion and engagement align with the 6 principles of Trust, Interdependence, Genuineness, Empathy, Risk, and Success (TIGERS). Years of research and practical application of these principles proves that their presence or omission affects team member engagement and effectiveness.
The TIGERS Team Wheel game is a team cooperation-building exercise that builds upon your existing values. The game opens the lines of communication between group members to discuss group consensus, group norms, and building accountability so that the group can collectively arrive at a decision they can agree to, champion, and implement. For a group of people who don’t normally collaborate, the team wheel game opens thinking to how their past or current work groups or relationships have been successful or where they needed more support.
TIGERS Among Us Book Club – 2-4 months
The years spent uncovering the core principles of Trust, Interdependence, Genuineness, Empathy, Risk, and Success provided numerous case studies of how successful organizations demonstrated their existence in their own way. This facilitated discussion works through the chapters to uncover similarities, differences, and ultimately how the principles exist or not within your team environment.

Facilitation
Using the Team Wheel as the catalyst for group development, there are several options for consensus facilitation that Frenzy to Freedom provides to support your group. These options differ in event duration, outcome timeline, and goal targets.
The method of facilitation used provides focused phases to set our group up for success. We align and connect our current situation to Objective, Reflective, Interpretive, and Decisional learning. We utilize teambuilding with debrief and shared observations. We use ground rules to create a safety net and allow everyone to set aside their anxieties and judgments as they work together to achieve consensus. The group walks away with a decision they can each champion, documentation of important items that were brought up but not addressed, and the tools and positive experience to continue working more effectively as a group.
Team Consensus: 1.5 – 3 hours
Gaining group consensus around one topic is an important step for groups who are first working together or at key inflection points with many opportunities, ideas and potential directions. We work through the situation, brainstorm solutions, build connections and come to a resolution. Important topics that surface but are not a priority are documented for another time.
Action Planning: 3-6+ hours
The Action Planning process takes consensus several steps further with creation of a shared vision for what needs to happen in the next 2-6 months. We assess the current reality, identify tasks to bridge the gap, set a timeline, and coordinate involvement and accountabilities. The final product is a roadmap through a resolution for the group to follow for the next 2-6 months.
Strategic Planning: 12 – 15+ hours
Strategic planning builds upon Action and Consensus by opening up the vision to 3-5 years. We look at our current reality and where we need to go through a new lens including new systems, staff, and resources.
